WELCOME September 5, 2008 Please pardon the out-of-datedness of this site. Since my last update, many new Paddington books, including the much anticipated new novel PADDINGTON HERE AND NOW, have come out in celebration of the bear's 50th anniversary. There are also many new Elf books out and about, with more in the works. All of this certainly reflects very poorly on the management team here. Even the picture is out of date. I have spiffy new glasses. But yet, since I am the management, I have no one to blame but myself. It's so unfair. With luck, all will be brought up to date by late September. To get a jump on things, I present above a pen line drawing from the cover of a new book out in a little over a month from Roaring Brook Press and Neal Porter: THERE'S A WOLF AT THE DOOR by the lovely Zoë B. Alley. It's a retelling in panel format of five traditional wolf-centered tales told in decidedly nontraditional language for the picturebook crowd. It's already gotten a starred review from Booklist and a mention in Kirkus Review's Graphic Spotlight 2008. We are very happy. So, please check back in late September for updates and revisions to this site. Thanks. Hello and welcome to my website.
